These Rocking Animals make great toys for young adventurous animal lovers who would like to go on a safari or for a ride. Feel confident that you are encouraging your child's creativity by providing a toy that will stimulate imaginative play.

Handcrafted by a local artisan and made of solid wood in the GMB Family Workshop, every animal has it’s own personality. We buy our wood from small local lumber mills in the greater Toronto area and make everything here in Richmond Hill, Canada. We support green living and environmental sustainability by only making wooden toys that will last for decades and become family heirlooms.

Colour has been added with acrylic paints or analine dyes. They have been finished with a water-based lacquer. As they are played with, each toy will develop a unique patina.

Most of our Riding Toys are built for toddlers and up. They make fabulous baby gifts for that someone special and can be ridden by the time that a child is about 10 moths old. The "Toddler Size" rocking toy will receive lots of love and be ridden till a child is about 6 years old at which point it will become a beautiful decorative piece of art as well as a family heirloom. Many of our happy customers leave them on display in their family or living room.

A few of our Rocking Animals are "Full Size" and are appropriate for ages 3 to 99! When they are no longer ridden regularly, they can move to recreation rooms where they are ridden at parties and family get-togethers. Others continue to live in the bedrooms of their loving owners and become extra seating for friends and a place to hang your clothes at the end of a long day.
