Beef & Bean Soup

2 c. bean soup mix (pot barley, green & yellow split peas, green & yellow whole peas, green lentils, bean mix)
12 c. water
1 lb. stewing beef or cheap steak, cut in small cubes (can be frozen)
2-3 parsley roots, peeled & sliced
1 tblsp. salt
1 clove rushed garlic
2 bay leaves
½ tsp. black pepper
1 tblsp. parsley flakes

Soup Recipes – Crock Pot
• 3-4 hours high or 6 hours slow
• makes about 4 quart jars of soup
