For large crock pot;
1 lb. stewing beef, 1/2" cubes
796 ml. diced tomatoes
2 Lrge. diced onions
2 cups grated cabbage
2 carrots
2 parsnips (optional)
2 small zucchinis, cubed
2 Lrge. potatoes, cubed
2 tsp. parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. black pepper
3 tsp. salt ("no salt" in our case)
Soup Recipes – Crock Pot
Combine all of the above and cook on high for 5-6
hours.
Add the following:
1080 ml. red kidney beans
3 cups dried elbow macaroni
Cook for an additional 1/2 hour and serve with
grated parmesan cheese.
Note: these types of dishes are best the next
day, after all ingredients have melded.
