INGREDIENTS
2.8 L red kidney beans ( 1 large can or 5 X 540 mL cans)
1.6 L diced or crushed tomatoes (canned)
1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
4 medium onions - diced
2 garlic cloves - crushed or frozen
1 tbsp. oregano
6 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. parsley flakes - dried
1 kg. lean ground beef - browned (2 to 3 lbs.)
2 cups water
optional: 2 green peppers diced or 1 hot yellow banana pepper diced finely
Crock Pot
Use large crock pot.
Place all ingredients in crock
pot.
Cook on HIGH for 4 hours.
Tastes better the next day.
