CHOCOLATE BARK

Super easy, fancy chocolate based sweet to make for Christmas giving

CHOCOLATE BASE:
1 lb. white chocolate - bulk wafers work really well - equals one cookie sheet thinly spread
Melt chocolate in double boiler. Spread out thinly on parchment covered cookie sheet.
Add "topping" (see below)
Cool for 45 minutes in fridge till hard.

TOPPINGS: choose 1 or mix & match

  • 5 medium candy canes crushed (put in cloth bag & smash) (Peppermint Bark - foodnetwork.com)
  • large handful of Smarties crushed
  • large handful of crushed peanuts
  • whatever sweets appeal to you

When hard, break into serving sizes & wrap up!;-)
