(pronounced Fasheert)
Breaded Burger Patties – from Nyusza
1Kg. extra lean ground pork
2 med. onions, grated or chopped extra fine
2 eggs
1/2 c. bread crumbs
2 crushed garlic cloves or 2 frozen cubes
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt or “No Salt”
1.2 tsp. ground black pepper
Mix ingredients (except B. crumbs) thoroughly. Make into 12 patties and roll in
bread crumbs.
Fry slowly in lard or shortening of your choice till cooked thoroughly.
OVEN METHOD vs. FRYING
Brown patties on both sides in “Tenderflake” – ( 3 min./side).
Place on cookie sheet and bake @ 350 Deg. F. for 1/2 hr.;
flip patties over and bake for an additional 1/2 hr.
Serve with TOK – Vegetable Marrow and steamed broccoli
