Fresh Yeast: 1 cube fresh yeast and 1/2 c. lukewarm water -OR as an ALTERNATIVE-
Dry Yeast:   1 tblsp. yeast powder in 100 ml. in lukewarm water
1-1/2 c. warm water 2 tsp. sugar

1 Kg. Flour
1 tblsp. salt

1 Kg. lard garlic cloves
Toppings: grated mozzarella cheese, sour cream, garlic cloves, parmesan cheese, salt

Add yeast to lukewarm water and sugar; let stand 20 minutes till it foams up.
Put flour and salt in a very large mixing bowl.
Add yeast mixture and start to knead.
Add rest of warm water and continue to knead until dough comes away from the bowl.
Let dough rise in a warm area (warmed up oven) in covered bowl till it doubles in size – approx. 1 hr.

On a floured board roll out dough.
Rip off a piece (handful); pat into round ball and stretch into flat shape (like a small 6” diameter pizza).
Sprinkle with flour lightly and pierce 4 times with knife, to let gas out later while frying.
Make up all of the risen dough into 6” circles as you are frying them.

Heat lard on highest temp in deep frying pan.
Add dough and cook on both sides till golden brown.

Serve hot.
Each person can rub garlic clove on, salt, sour cream and cheese to taste.
