BASIC PIE CRUST

For baked crusts used for Quiches, bake single crusts for 15 minutes at 400° F

10 Inch Pie Crust (2 crusts)
2 2/3 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 cup shortening (Crisco)
8 tbsp. cold water
10 Inch Pie Crust (1 crust)
1 1/3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup shortening (Crisco)
4 tbsp. cold water

8 or 9 Inch Pie Crust (2 crusts)
2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
2/3 cup plus 2 tbsp. shortening (Crisco)
5 tbsp. cold water

8 or 9 Inch Pie Crust (1 crust)
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup plus 1 tbsp. shortening (Crisco)
2 tbsp. cold water
